物业详细介绍
This storied brick historical landmark began its life in 1878 as the Caspar Lumber company store. Today, the wonderfully intact 19th-century facade is an iconic visual marker for those traveling Highway 1. The Caspar Studio was reincarnated in the 1990s as a recording venue for a legendary record producer and later, reimagined as an artist's live/work space. Both evolutions placed a high priority on retaining and celebrating its historic architecture. The ceilings slope from a peak of 14' to 12 feet over the length of the structure with the interior space being divided into three distinct sections. The front room (700+- sq.ft), features soaring ceiling and two giant skylights and is being used as a high-end painting studio. The middle section (2,000 +- sq.ft.) is a cavernous space with five skylights and tall arched windows along the south wall. The rear section (600+- sq.ft.), features a richly elegant kitchen with thick walnut countertops and massive windows framed in old-growth redwood. These windows capture beautiful views out over the specimen-rich gardens which feature over 700 Australian and South African trees and plants (many of them rare). The property is surrounded on 3 sides by 35 acres of state parkland which makes up the Caspar Headlands Natural State Reserve. The Caspar Studio will surely spark your imagination and inspire you in a journey to continue this remarkable evolution. The Rural Village zoning allows for multiple uses. It will give you a space to feel creative, romantic and the enjoyment of being with friends and family.
