The BeCa is located in South Bermondsey, South East London 2, with Bermondsey to the north, Greenwich to the east and Peckham to the south, an area renowned for its long history and now a vibrant community where modern living meets multiculturalism in a culturally rich environment. Located on the historic Old Kent Road, the project is part of the regeneration of the area, which is planned to provide 20,000 new homes, new community workspaces, a town centre, schools, parks, a metro station, and a sports and recreation centre, all of which will improve the area.
The project is part of the Southwark Local Authority's Ruby Triangle regeneration programme, which will deliver more than 1,400 new homes and flexible workspaces in the area that will further attract young entrepreneurs with innovative ideas to incubate and create technology businesses.
This comprehensive urban regeneration programme for London 2 aims to bring 20,000 homes and 10,000 jobs to the area.
